Aspire Hospitality Group is looking for an experienced Chef to join one of our Albany venues. You'll run a section (or the pass) in a busy kitchen, cooking fresh, locally-sourced food to a consistently high standard and helping shape seasonal menus.
What you'll do
- Prepare and present dishes to spec during service, maintaining quality and speed under pressure
- Manage your section: mise en place, stock rotation, portion control and waste minimisation
- Uphold food-safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) and keep the kitchen clean and compliant
- Support and mentor junior kitchen staff and contribute ideas to specials and menu development
About you
- Proven experience as a Chef or Chef de Partie in a fast-paced kitchen
- A relevant cookery qualification (Cert III/IV) or equivalent experience
- Sound knowledge of food safety and allergen handling
- Reliable, team-oriented and calm under pressure
