We are continuously recruiting hard-working and reliable Kitchen Hands to place with our client venues across Margaret River, Esperance, and Kalgoorlie. This is a genuinely physical, hands-on role — you will be on your feet for every shift, working at pace in a busy commercial kitchen. Key Responsibilities
- Actively assist chefs with food preparation duties throughout the shift.
- Manage the dish station continuously throughout service, ensuring clean crockery, glassware, and equipment are always available to the kitchen team.
- Maintain workstations and all kitchen areas to a high standard of cleanliness during and after service.
- Occasionally support front-of-house staff with glassware cleaning as required.
- Carry out end-of-shift cleaning duties as directed by the Head Chef.
- Comply with all WHS and food safety requirements throughout every shift.
- Perform additional cleaning and preparation duties as directed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in a kitchen hand or similar kitchen support role.
- Must be physically fit and capable of standing, lifting, and working at pace for the full duration of each shift.
- Must be available to work on a rotating roster — this is a must!
- A current Police Check is required for applicants over 18 years old.
- Safe Food Handling Certificate required — can be completed prior to commencement if not already held.
- A strong work ethic, willingness to take direction, and a positive, team-first attitude.
